Summer:

Dubbo is known for its hot summer climate, which makes it the perfect time for outdoor activities. Some of the top summer events in the region include:

Dubbo City Carols - Held in December at the Dubbo Showgrounds, the Dubbo City Carols is a family-friendly event featuring local musicians and performers.

New Year's Eve Fireworks - Celebrate the new year with a spectacular fireworks display at the Dubbo Showgrounds.

Taronga Western Plains Zoo Twilight Safari - Experience the zoo after dark with a guided tour, followed by dinner under the stars.
